Malvika Jaganmohan is a family barrister, mental health advocate and podcaster. Alongside her family law practice, she runs a blog - 'Stiff Upper Lip' - exploring mental health and wellbeing in the legal profession, and she is a Champion for Lawcare. She co-hosts a podcast on family law called 'Professionally Embarrassing', which has been shortlisted in the Family Law Commentator of the Year category in the Family Law Awards 2021. She is a founding member of Women in Family Law and she is part of the core group for The Transparency Project, a charity which aims to make family justice clearer for the general public.

Malvika is passionate about access to justice and the lack of availability of legal aid to some of the most vulnerable members of society. She has given evidence to the Westminster Commission on the Sustainability of Legal Aid about practising in family legal aid. She is a panel member at Advocate (formerly The Bar Pro Bono Unit) and the Centre for Women's Justice's Legal Reference Panel. She was nominated for Young Pro Bono Barrister of the Year in the Bar Pro Bono Awards 2020 and has been described by Advocate as a "future pro bono star of the Bar".

She has co-authored a book entitled 'A Practical Guide to Practice Direction 12J and Domestic Abuse in Private Law Children Proceedings' which is due to be published in late 2021.
